Ferdinando Guicciardini : Management and Coordination
Born in Florence in 1937 spent his early years at Castello di Poppiano. Graduated as Agronomist from Florence University in 1961 and joined ELC - a prestigious International Engineering Consulting Company - in charge of supervision of agricultural development and irrigation projects in Developing Countries. In 1962 took on as well the management of Castello di Poppiano Estate implementing the renovation of vineyards and olive groves. Since 1994 has been full time on his estates. In 1998 he started the development of Massi di Mandorlaia Estate in the Morellino di Scansano area. Strong supporter of the importance of the links between a product and its territory of origin, he he was a promoter of Consorzio Chianti Colli Fiorentini and had the honour of being its President from 1995 to 2003.

Annamaria (Titti) Guicciardini : Technical Management
Titti, Ferdinando's wife, takes active part in the management of the estates and, in particular, she is in charge of the Olive Oil Sector. Not Tuscan-born, but intensely passionate about Tuscan Olive Oil, and as a biologist a strong and motivated supporter of the healthy qualities of Olive Oil, she deserves most of the credits of the high standards achieved in our production.

Paolo Bartalucci : Technical Management
Born in Tavarnelle in 1968, after his diploma in oenology from the Technical Institute of Siena, he joined Castello di Poppiano in 1987. He was soon involved with the olive groves restoration after the 1985 frost, replanting of vineyards, cellar and oil mill operation. This intensive "on the job" training made him a skilled technician and valuable collaborator to Ferdinando Guicciardini and wine maker consultant Giorgio Marone.

Giorgio Marone - Wine Maker
Born in Turin in 1959 , he graduated in Agricultural Sciences from the Turin University. Postgraduate course in Viticulture and Oenology at the Turin University. From 1988 to 1993 with Antinori, as junior oenologist reporting to the winemaker Mr. Giacomo Tachis.
From 1993 freelance Consultant to several reputed wine producers in Tuscany and other Regions in Italy. He is Consultant to Conte Ferdinando Guicciardini (Castello di Poppiano and Massi di Mandorlaia) since 1999.

Gabriele Farolfi - Sviluppo Commerciale
Nato a Firenze nel 1980, si è laureato nel 2004 all'Università di Siena in Scienze della Comunicazione specializzandosi in Comunicazione d'Impresa nel mercato vinicolo. Dal 2006 si occupa dello sviluppo commerciale dell'Azienda e della promozione del prodotto in Italia e all'estero.
