From Florence by Via Volterrana
Porta Romana, Via Cassia (SR2). At Galluzzo turn right onto Via Volterrana (SP4), direction Montespertoli-Volterra. Go through Chiesanuova and approximately 3 Km after Cerbaia, almost on the top of the hill of Montagnana, at the crossroads turn left to San Quirico (SP81). Just after the village of San Quirico, turn right to Castello di Poppiano (1.5 Km).

From Florence and Autosole (A1) from the North
Motorway A1, exit Firenze-Scandicci, SGC (Superhighway Firenze-Pisa-Livorno FI-PI-LI), exit Ginestra Fiorentina, turn right on the SP12 and in the center of Ginestra turn right, direction Montespertoli onto the SP80; follow the road for 5 km and in Baccaiano turn right onto Via Volterrana (SP4) and after 200 m turn left again onto SP80 (Via Nuova del Virginio), direction Tavarnelle Certaldo. After 1.5 km at the crossroads, in correspondence with a tall cypress tree, turn left to Castello di Poppiano, 1.5 km on the top of the hill.

From Florence and Autosole (A1) from the South
Motorway A1, exit Firenze Certosa, take the Superhighway to Siena. Exit San Casciano take Via Cassia(SR2) on the right and just after San Casciano turn right onto SP93 direction
San Pancrazio-Certaldo. At the San Pancrazio crossroads turn right onto SP81, direction San Quirico. Just before entering San Quirico, turn left to Castello di Poppiano (1.5 Km).

From Siena
Superhighway Siena-Firenze, direction Firenze, exit San Donato turn left onto SP101, direction Tavarnelle. Here turn right onto Via Cassia (SR 2) direction Florence and, after 2 km, on the top of a short hill, at the fork turn left onto SP81, direction San Pancrazio. Overcome San Pancrazio and, just before entering San Quirico turn left to Castello di Poppiano (1.5 Km).
